Shinn Rune Pic 2

Rules and regulations regarding the purchase of enchantments, the enchantments available in our universe, and how to obtain them.

Enchantment?Edit

Enchantments are restricted in Warden's Vigil due to the value attached to owning such an enchantment and availability of enchantments from the Circle of Magi. As such, we have put these restrictions in place:

  1. New characters can have one Novice Rune, either in armor or weapon, not both. Any more runes have to be purchased at a high cost. The purchase would need to be mod approved.
  2. Canon characters may get more than one rune and at a higher level depending on the canon. This is dependent on the canon character (eg. Shianni won't be able to have 5 Master Runes because she would not be able to afford it).
  3. Nobility or characters who would have access to coin (eg. wealthy merchants) may start out with two Novice or one journeyman rune.

These enchantments can only be acquired in Orzammar or a Circle Tower in Thedas and carry an extremely heavy gold price. If you are looking to get an item enchantment, please contact a mod for approval.

Enchantment!Edit

Here is a list of the runes available to players currently. We include runes from Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening, and Dragon Age II. Some have been omitted if they do not make sense for our characters to have (eg. Sandal's Special Rune would only be crafted by Sandal, and you probably don't know him).

Please note that these runes should go in your character profile under the section labeled Weapons (for weapons enchantments) or Armor (for armor enchantments).
